KomPi — my agent harness
A personal, global workshop on top of the Pi coding agent: my own persona, session goal, handoff, local research, notes search, curated skills and delegating work to other agents.
Pi is a minimal, extensible coding agent for the terminal. KomPi is my layer on top of it — not a fork but a package: extensions, a theme, a persona and a skill set. One kompi command brings the same way of working to the website repo, my notes vault, a documents folder or a plain conversation with no project.
The agent speaks Polish, keeps it short and pushes back instead of agreeing; it understands my dictation shorthands (scr, eli, foc, ref). Every session has a goal shown above the editor, and /handoff writes a portable work state — goal, decisions, files, open questions, next steps — so another agent or the next session can pick up the thread.
Research runs through a local SearXNG in Docker (pinned image, memory and CPU limits), and /wiki searches my markdown notes without sending them to the model unless I explicitly ask. Through the Herdr multiplexer KomPi delegates tasks to Claude Code or Codex in side panes — the full loop is tested: KomPi → Claude Code → Codex (independent review) → KomPi.
It ships with tests (node:test, including an integration test running real Pi on an isolated HOME against a mock API) and kompi doctor — a free, read-only health check of the install.
