Railway KML Generator
Python script fetching track data from OpenStreetMap via the Overpass API and exporting it to KML files ready for import in GIS software.
A tool that generates KML/CSV files with railway-line coordinates from OpenStreetMap data, with a configurable waypoint interval.
A proof of concept and the direct predecessor of Wirtualna Budowa — its limitations (OSM data quality) pointed me toward official geometry sources.
